Live projects

The past 2 years I have participated in a lot of live projects. I liked doing these as they give you an idea of what its like to have real work. The only thing I didn't like about most of these was that there was like 40 people participating in them so it just felt really unlikely that my work would be used.
With the Laura thomas project Neil Kelly didn't like my thumbnail ideas as they didn't suit her or her work and I agreed with that as I didn't really like her work and thought it was boring so I found it hard to create a nice piece of work for it as I had no inspiration.
Christmas card project I liked  because even if paperchase didn't like my ideas I could still use them if I wanted to and so they weren't completely pointless.
The KMFM project was really boring as well but I liked it more then the Laura Thomas one. My logo didn't get chosen but I thought I did alright with it anyway. I still need to get better at applying logos on different objects.
DTML - This was the best live project I did as it was just me and a couple of other people doing it so it was more exciting and felt more competitive. I produced a logo how they wanted but I should of stuck to how I would of created one myself as there idea was really bad. Someone else made a logo for them that looked better so I advised them to just use that as they wanted mine as well. I still created the shirt mockup for them and set it up for print. I learnt the most with this live project and although Its not my logo being used Im still happy with what I learnt.
